Colorado’s gorgeous surroundings and variety of whitewater make it the perfect environment for both professional and beginner kayakers.  The Adventure Company, offers both Inflatable Kayak trips and Hard-shell Kayak instruction.

Inflatable kayaks are stable, open-top crafts designed for one or two paddlers.  Inflatable kayak trips make a terrific alternative to hard shell kayak tours for those wanting to try something new, but not ready to hop in a kayak.  These boats are easy to paddle and maneuver, making them a great choice for novice to expert paddlers.  Depending on your skill level, physical fitness and ability to swim there are several different river stretches to choose from.

Their experienced office staff will help you choose the whitewater section that meets the needs of your group. The Adventure Company’s guides can help navigate some of the most famous whitewater on the Arkansas River. Inflatable kayak trips are small with an emphasis on personal attention (4 guests to one guide). Inflatable Kayak trips can be reserved as part of a package or separately.

For those looking for hard shell kayak instruction, The Adventure Company’s kayak instructors can help you learn to roll for the first time or navigate some of the most famous whitewater on the Arkansas River. We recommend all beginner kayakers do a 2 day lesson; the first day is spent learning how to roll and getting comfortable in your boat and the second is spent on a calm stretch of the river. We also offer intermediate and advanced lessons for those experienced kayakers looking for more excitement.
